My name is Mr. Bee. I’ve been tattooing for 23 years, since 2003, when things were still pretty old school. Over the years, I’ve evolved with the modern era of tattooing, both in my art and in the way I operate as an artist.

Like traditional tattooing, my work is bold, with precise linework, rich, saturated color, and smooth shading. I create tattoos designed to last a lifetime. Over time, I’ve incorporated modern design elements into my style to create artwork that’s visually striking with depth and contrast. I’ve also refined my process so I can adapt it to any concept, creating a one-of-a-kind tattoo that is yours for life.

Like a traditional tattoo artist, I pride myself on being meticulously clean, technically skilled, creative, and easy to work with. I don’t waste anyone’s time, and I don’t let anyone waste mine. I charge a fair rate and deliver excellent quality. Over the years, I’ve also adapted to the standards of the modern tattoo industry. I work by appointment only, require deposits, use contracts, and create original artwork for every client. When you get a tattoo from me, it’s solid, you’re treated with care and respect, and you’ll never see it on anyone else.

I’ve spent my entire adult life as a tattoo artist. I started out in neighborhood tattoo shops in Phoenix, Arizona, when I was 18 years old. At 24, I moved to Los Angeles and opened my own tattoo shop in Hermosa Beach a year later. Hermosa Beach is an affluent community with a highly competitive tattoo scene. To succeed there, I refined my skills, adapted to high client expectations, and built a solid reputation as a large-scale, all-custom tattoo artist.

After 10 years, I sold the business and left Los Angeles to start a family with my wife and give our children a better place to grow up.

In 2025, we moved to Boise. We love the city, we love the people, and we’re committed to planting roots here. My mission is simple: to give you the coolest tattoo I possibly can at a fair price, so people ask where you got it and you keep coming back.
